This study aims to describe the implementation of physical and social activity-based learning at An-Nida Kindergarten and analyze the problems that arise during the activities based on early childhood development theory. The method used is descriptive qualitative observation of learning activities for children aged 5–6 years which include morning exercise, learning about the school environment, group games, balance exercises, and eating together. The results of the observation indicate that learning activities at An-Nida Kindergarten have implemented the principle of learning through play and are able to stimulate children's motoric, social-emotional, and cognitive development. However, obstacles are still found in the form of differences in motoric abilities, social conflicts between children, and less than optimal emotional regulation abilities. The discussion is reviewed based on the theories of Erikson, Piaget, and Vygotsky. This study concludes that physical and social activity-based learning is effective in supporting early childhood development when accompanied by consistent teacher guidance and collaboration with parents.
